Dismaland

Been a minute since I posted, just been putting it off. So much going on, so much to share, or not, we’ll see…. For now, last night produced quite a few pictures I had to share. If you want to know more about where this was, just search: Banksy’s Dismaland.

Narrowboat Life

Life never ceases to amaze me with the possibilities, I am so blessed to now be experiencing life from a narrowboat, in the midlands of England. Being on the canals and rivers in a narrowboat is a very unique and calm way of life. It’s like a whole different world really, and has suited me quite well. I can’t imagine life any sweeter, but we will see… 😉

Until next time, these are a few pictures from my first week aboard…

London, again.

Recently spent a little more time in London. This time around I wasn’t rushed around visiting the tourist sites, as I covered all those three years ago. If you haven’t seen the posts I made from when I was here before, what are you waiting for? (if you are on the “full version” of my website, there is a drop down list on the right that says “Blast from the past” select July and/or august 2011.

This visit was much more relaxed, if London can be relaxed. Spent most of my days wandering aimlessly around, finding all kinds of experiences waiting for me, see my instagram. London is really an amazing city, in the diversity of its people and all the things to see and do. I am not sure even an entire lifetime would be enough to take it all in.

Britain’s Southern Coast

When I was ten years old, my father was in the military and was stationed in England for about four years. This means that most of my clearest and earliest memories, are from a country that is not on the front cover of my passport. After returning for the first time, three years ago, I have thought of little else, but to return. All sparked by the sense of “home” I felt, the moment I stepped out of Heathrow, back at the time I started this blog. Can we say, full circle?

Having been back in England for a short while now, I have found myself returning to some places that I have been before. It feels like a bit of a time capsule. While I have changed, so does everything else. Here are some recent moments I have “captured”…

The Norfolk Broads

I find myself now, having finished spending just under a week on the rivers and canals of a National Park, in East Anglia. Being surrounded by the natural beauty of this part of England, was a real treat, not to mention the great company. It felt nice to be back in a rural part of the world with the sounds of nature and the water. I was blessed with amazing weather for the duration, only rained a bit one night on the boat. Here are a handful of pictures I have selected to share here…
